| What about me? - I’m the baby of four children…the best part being an identical twin (both have its perks). I was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Las Vegas about ten years ago. Call me strange…but I love it here and wouldn’t want to return to my homeland to live, only to visit. Some of my pet peeves are smoking, being late and gossip! I love to be with people and have a tendency to be a people pleaser. Don’t know if that’s a good thing or not….depends on whom you talk to, I guess. I tend to be a perfectionist - list organized although I never see the end of them (drives me crazy). I want to be disciplined and can be at times. One of my goals is to complete my “want to do this, this side of heaven” list. | |||||||||||||||||
| How do I spend my free time? - You’ll find me staying up late playing cards with my friends or watching DVD’s at home. My preference for movies though is on the big screen mostly because you can eat “junk” there and there is lots of it (MMMMM…popcorn dripping with butter mixed with M&M’s!!). I do like my solitary time and spend that reading, drinking a good cup of coffee. I love to be crafty but hate to admit I’m not the originator, just a copy cat. I like to play racquetball, camping and hanging out at the lake. I do enjoy watching professional football with friends with the emphasis on the social part. I don’t have a favorite team but have a heart for the good old “Los Angeles” Rams. |  |

| What do I enjoy? - I enjoy listening to a variety of styles of music…mostly Christian artists like David Crowder, Third Day, Mercy Me, Newsboys, Switchfoot, Crystal Lewis, Rebecca St. James to name a few but can only tolerate anything country. I do like reading…anything that is not fictional although once loved John Grisham’s books and now anything by Max Lucado. And believe it or not, I really do enjoy reading the Bible. I’m trying to read through the Bible in every translation. My all time favorite movie is “Grease” second to “The Passion of Christ”…way opposite ends of the spectrum…go figure. But I do enjoy anything with Matthew McConaughey, Mel Gibson, Samuel L. Jackson, Johnny Dep, Will Smith….hummm too much testosterone. | |||||||||||||||||
| Why The Rock? I want to be a part of a church that is genuine and loving with one another, like family. One that accepts me for who I am (with all my quirks and faults-there's many) but loves me still with God's unconditional love. The Rock is one that truly lives out like the first church in Acts 2- being a community with one another, praying, breaking bread, and sharing life together. What I like most is that the emphasis is not necessarily inwardly focused but outwardly, partnering with God in advancing His Kingdom. | |||||||||||||||||
